Shopping, preparing food, and eating together builds a unique camaraderie among firefighters-and provides a chance to blow off some steam when not saving lives. Now, a trained chef and firefighter Keith Young takes that ritual to a whole new level. Bringing his culinary expertise to the firehouse, he has created recipes that satisfy the hunger in these everyday heroes-without scrimping on taste. His award-winning dishes have made meals at the firehouse an event in themselves.
About the Author
Keith Young, in addition to being a New York City firefighter, holds a degree from the culinary program at Johnson & Wales University and is a licensed massage therapist.
